Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Accounting function
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant credential is preferred
  • Experience working in a BPO, Shared Services, or Healthcare-related industry is required
  • Proficient knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle
  • Familiarity with accounting tools like Blackline and healthcare systems like EPIC is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and handle confidential information
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across department
  • Will change to Hybrid Set-up
  • Night Shift not permanent and will change to Day Shift

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Accounting Supervisor with month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis
  • Prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and budget vs. Actual analysis
  • Ensure account integrity by performing timely reconciliations and resolving discrepancies within 90 days
  • Conduct daily and monthly cash reconciliations, identify variances, and coordinate with third parties to resolve issues
  • Support AR sub-ledger to GL balancing and assist in correcting variances with oversight
  • Assist in the preparation and review of audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
  • Generate financial and month-end reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Support intercompany accounting processes, including transaction tracking and reconciliations
  • Partner with domestic market teams to manage monthly accruals and upcoming transactions
  • Act as a departmental super user for financial systems and tools, helping to train and support peers
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives within the accounting function
  • Provide back-up support to other accountants or supervisors as needed
