Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM| BGC, Taguig City

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Transaction Processing

· Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries (including accruals, reclassifications)

· Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and ensure completeness and accuracy.

Financial Reporting

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)

· Ensure statements comply with applicable accounting standards (Philippines GAAP, and if applicable, IFRS or others)

Reconciliation & Month‑End / Year‑End Close

· Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable & payable reconciliations, other ledger reconciliations

· Assist in and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes

Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Analysis

· Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

· Analyze variances between actual and budget/forecast; provide insight and recommendations

Tax, Regulatory & Audit Compliance

· Prepare or review tax returns; ensure timely filing and compliance with BIR and other regulatory bodies

· Assist with external and internal audits; prepare schedules and support audit queries

Process Improvement & Controls

· Implement, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls

· Suggest ways to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, reduce risk

Supporting Management

· Provide financial analysis, reporting, and support to management for decision‑making

· Possibly mentor or coordinate with junior accounting staff or cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (or equivalent)

· Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines — required

· Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in general accounting (including GL, reconciliations, reporting, tax, close process)

· Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards (and international standards if relevant), tax laws, regulatory compliance

· Proficiency in accounting software / ERP systems

· Strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas; possibly macros)

· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical aptitude

· Good communication skills (verbal and written); ability to present financial information clearly
