This is a remote position.

Accounting Specialist (QuickBooks Online)

Work Schedule: 9am to 6pm EST with one hour of unpaid break

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online.

• Handle bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.

• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly categorized.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Prepare basic financial reports and assist with analysis as needed.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth accounting operations and timely completion of tasks.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and follow security protocols.

Requirements:

• Strong accounting background with a solid understanding of bookkeeping and financial principles.

• Proven experience working with QuickBooks Online.

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (CPA or firm experience is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with US-based clients.

• Familiarity with tax preparation processes or accounting firm workflows.
