Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting functions that support the company's financial operations, following the Alagang Mahalaga way of life. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial recording, reporting, and analysis.

Depending on specialization, the Accounting Specialist may focus on treasury, reporting, planning and analysis, receivables, or payables, with the common goal of safeguarding the company's financial integrity and supporting sound business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and improve accounting processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and value-adding services to stakeholders.
  2. Record and reconcile financial transactions in the ERP system in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, schedules, and analyses to support management decision-making.
  4. Monitor accounts and perform regular reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
  5. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Safeguard confidential financial data and maintain proper documentation to provide complete and reliable audit trails.
  7. Assist in internal and external audit activities by providing necessary reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
  8. Collaborate with team members and other departments to support smooth financial operations.
  9. Contribute to process optimization and digitalization initiatives within the finance function.
  10. Perform other related tasks or special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, or equivalent.
  2. With at least 5 years work experience in financial accounting.
  3. Must possesses results-oriented and communication skills.
  4. Adept in a customer-centric environment.
  5. Knowledge of financial transaction workflows using ERP systems and MS Office
