Job Responsibilities

• Gather data business requirements, including key L&D analytics, industry metrics, and benchmarks
• Able to understand the difference between business requirements and technical solutions
• Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
• Design, develop and distribute L&D metrics reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting
• Design, develop and distribute business learning reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting
• Manage learner groups/analysis, and assignment of Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) regulatory training in coordination with business partners/training leads, leveraging business intelligence reporting
• Support EOHS team with future innovations of the learning enrollment process to reduce friction and improve accuracy
• Ensure all business processes are documented, uniform, and securely stored
• Recommend process improvements for improved efficiencies, removing waste, saving time, and reducing friction
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
• Translates concepts into practice
• Identify capability gaps between current state and desired state
• Identify the business impact of system/application changes, using appropriate tools as needed
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Conduct and/or support testing activities as appropriate
• Validate usability of technical solutions prior to deployment
• Monitor L&D central email and respond within stated Service Level Agreement, directing to other parties based upon their specialization, and escalating as needed
• Maintain awareness of best practices/approaches related to the business analysis discipline
• Maintain awareness of best practices/approaches related to quality and productivity

Job Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's Degree, plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads

·       Experience in complex problem solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions

·       Superior analytical thinking skills

·       Strong relationship-building, accountability, and critical thinking skills

·       Strong knowledge of latest innovations and emerging trends in leveraging data and providing predictive and prescriptive learning analytics

·       Proficiency in digital learning platforms, talent analytics tools, and change management best practices

·       Effective in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver next-in-class analytics solutions

·       Strong motivation to learn and share knowledge, advocacy for building a learning culture

·       Strong time and project management, organizational and prioritization management skills with attention to detail

·       Excellent collaboration, emotional intelligence, networking, and communication (written and oral) skills, and ability to balance multiple priorities

·       Proven ability to influence without authority, resilient, build relationships, and work effectively in a large matrix environment

·       Experience with Microsoft Power BI business intelligence reporting and Smartsheet

·       Proficiency with Access databases

·       Proficiency in learning management platforms (e.g., EdCast, Oracle Learning Cloud)

·       Proficiency in Office 365 Suite of Tools (MS Teams & Apps, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)
