Job description:

As a Sr. Application Developer, you will be responsible for helping the development team, oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Help a team of application developers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the team.
  • Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and high-quality releases.
  • Manage project timelines, task allocation, and ensure on-time delivery of deliverables.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to projects.
  • Facilitate communication between developers and other departments.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in application development with at least 1 year in leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, .NET, Spring Boot,
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing methodologies.
