About the Role:

The Payroll Officer plays a critical role in producing high-volume payrolls, interpreting employment conditions (Awards, EBAs, AWAs), and managing end-to-end payroll administration. You'll collaborate closely with the Finance, Administration, and Operations teams, and contribute to the integrity and efficiency of payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process on-hire and internal payrolls accurately and on time

  • Generate payroll invoices and associated financial reports

  • Interpret Awards, EBAs, AWAs, and other employment conditions

  • Maintain payroll data in internal systems and transfer to Xero

  • Conduct PAYG and payroll tax calculations and submissions

  • Liaise with operations team on timesheet and billing queries

  • Ensure compliance with statutory returns, accruals, and contributions

  • Supervise EFT wage payments and manage overpayments

  • Produce annual payment summaries and assist with end-of-year reconciliations

  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure payroll data security

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of relevant payroll experience in a high-volume setting

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Awards and EBAs

  • Experience with accounts payable/receivable is an advantage

  • Exposure to FastTrack, Greentree, or similar payroll software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and adaptable to new systems

  • Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail

  • Strong service mentality and communication skills

  • High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet KPIs

  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable team player

  • Must be willing to report onsite at Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm)
