The Consultant role focuses on conducting technical analysis, record keeping and presenting their findings to the team. The role involves working closely with the Lead Assistant to undertake forensic investigations and analyse large data sets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

  • You will be required to always present and communicate in a professional manner (orally and in writing) with your colleagues and clients.
  • You acknowledge that the activities of the Company require you to ensure that you exercise high degree of care and caution in the work you undertake. This means that you must check your own work for errors and ensure that you have undertaken diligent analysis of relevant information. The accuracy of the Company's work product and its communications is paramount to its success.
  • Before you provide any advice to a client of the Company, or before any work product is issued to the client in a final form, you must present your work product to your supervisor (or such other person as nominated by your supervisor) for review

Technical Analysis & Report Writing

  • Responsible for drafting narratives for discrete sections of Expert reports
  • Review, analyse and tabulate project documentation and data.
  • Assist with data collection and library.
  • Develop technical competence to advise clients on commercial issues and disputes.
  • Assists with drafting contractual and technical correspondence including preparing technical analysis and submissions, construction claims including variations, extensions of time, disruption claims and acceleration claims.
  • Assists with dispute resolution processes, including mediation, expert determination and helps prepare adjudication applications and responses under security of payment legislation.

Commission Management

  • Manages own time and informs the Matter Lead of any changes to utilization.

Professional Excellence

  • Attend seminars and networking events to develop industry reputation and new contacts.
  • Achieve professional accreditations that relate to and support your professional development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry developments and shares learning with the team.

Stakeholder Management

  • Involved in daily contact with clients and other professional.
  • Assists the Matter Lead with client and professional communications

Business Development

  • Attend seminars and networking events to develop industry contacts.
  • Generate business leads from your network

Operations Management

  • Participate in business improvement initiatives.
  • Actively contributes to team meetings and puts forward ideas.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • More than five years in construction, engineering and/or claims experience
  • A construction-related or law degree / qualification.
  • An analytical approach to problem solving with their written and verbal communications.
  • Acts with diligence, integrity and has a strong attention to detail.
  • Developed letter and report writing skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
