Position Summary
Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales, marketing, and promotional strategies to maximize hotel revenue, strengthen brand positioning, and achieve business objectives. This role oversees corporate, leisure, group, and events sales while ensuring marketing initiatives align with the hotel's image and 4-star service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve room, banquet, and F&B revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, online platforms, and event organizers.
Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts with key accounts.
Lead sales presentations, site inspections, and client meetings.
Marketing & Promotions
Develop and implement marketing campaigns (online and offline) to drive occupancy and brand awareness.
Coordinate with digital platforms, media, and PR partners for promotions.
Oversee social media presence, hotel website updates, and advertising materials.
Plan seasonal offers, holiday promotions, and loyalty programs.
Events & Banquets
Work closely with Banquet and F&B teams to market conferences, weddings, and social functions.
Assist clients with event planning, package proposals, and customized offers.
Ensure seamless coordination of event requirements to maximize guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Revenue & Reporting
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and marketing reports for management review.
Collaborate with the Revenue Manager/Front Office on pricing, room inventory, and yield management strategies.
Ensure adherence to budgets and optimize ROI on marketing expenditures.
Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor the Sales & Marketing team.
Provide regular training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Allocate targets, track progress, and motivate staff to achieve goals.
Foster teamwork and a results-driven culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry (preferably in a 4-star or higher property).
Strong background in corporate sales, events, and digital marketing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of local Tacloban market is an advantage.
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and social media platforms.
