Overview

Telna is looking for a full-time Network Operations Center Technician to work onsite to monitor and maintain the organization's performance and availability of Telna Networks and systems.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following
:

  • Network Monitoring: Monitor the network infrastructure to detect and handle any network-related issues or anomalies. This involves using network monitoring tools to analyze traffic, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential problems.

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and coordinate troubleshooting network incidents, such as service degradation, connectivity problems, or performance issues. Follow established procedures to diagnose and resolve these issues promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on network operations.

  • Incident Management: Shall be responsible for managing and documenting network incidents. This includes accurately logging incidents, tracking their progress, and ensuring timely resolution. In some cases, shall escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams if necessary.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and incident post-mortem reports.

  • Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: Must be proactive in monitoring network performance, capacity, and trends to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. To generate reports and metrics on network health, performance, and incident trends to help identify patterns, optimize network resources, and make informed decisions.

Experience and Required Skills (
Minimum Qualifications)

  • Telecom Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of Telecom Core Network Protocols, SIGTRAN, SS7, GTP
  • Good analytical skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of cellular network components and call flows.
  • Multicultural work environment experience.
