About the Role

As a Network Operations Engineer, you'll design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN architectures that support high-traffic, enterprise-grade systems. You'll handle performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response—while ensuring compliance with strict network security standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN architectures for enterprise environments
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues using tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Nagios
  • Lead incident response for outages and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and enforce network security policies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
  • Automate repetitive network tasks using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Document network configurations, changes, and processes
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Stay updated on SDN, cloud networking, and emerging network technologies

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or operations
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, MPLS
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista network hardware
  • Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible)
  • Proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities

Good-to-Have
  • Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent
  • Experience with AWS VPC or Azure Networking
  • Exposure to Software-Defined Networking (SDN) environments
  • Knowledge of SNMP, NetFlow, and advanced monitoring systems
