DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes, plans and directs drivers and helpers' activities in collaboration with Trucking Dispatcher/Manager to ensure all trucking operations are conducted in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
  • Determines shipments for delivery and assigns trucks in accordance with the client's requirement in collaboration with the Trucking Dispatcher.
  • Secures TABS booking for all deliveries and ensures that appointment is met.
  • Plans, monitors and reports status of deliveries to the concerned parties at all times.
  • Timely preparation of trucking reports. Ensures that all shipments released and delivered are updated in Trucking Notification module and Transaction Profile.
  • Coordinates with shipping lines regarding empty return pre-advises.
  • Makes certain that trucking companies to be used for deliveries were included in the company's list of accredited trucking suppliers as per company's list of accredited trucking suppliers as per company's standard operating procedure.
  • Prioritizes MBT trucks in assignment of trips.
  • Ensures proper documentation of any irregularity encountered during deliveries and keeps the concerned informed.
  • Receives the bills/invoices from suppliers, validates the charges and check the completeness of the attached documents.
  • Coordinates with operations, SL, TR or trucking suppliers regarding any discrepancy with the bills vs. the existing buying rates and informs concerned parties of any exception from the standard operating procedure.
  • Coordinates with trucking suppliers regarding any concern relating to deliveries.
  • Assists and responds to SL/operations trucking requirement inquiries.
  • Reports all trucking concerns to immediate superior and Department Head
  • Ensures that the driver's license is always updated and renewed before expiration date in collaboration with HR Department.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:

  • Preferably a graduate of any college degree.
  • Has good written and oral communication skills.
  • Has the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Has the ability to convey information accurately and timely.
  • Puts attention to details and is flexible enough to adjust to the needs/requirements of the job.
  • Can stand long hours of work
  • Willing to be assigned night shift
  • With good computer skills (microsoft word, excel) and willing to learn and use new computer applications
  • Willing to undergo training
  • Preferably with driving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
