Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage the routing and scheduling of our delivery and service teams. The Dispatcher will be the critical link between our sales, warehouse, service technicians, and customers, ensuring the prompt and accurate delivery of kitchen equipment and supplies and the timely deployment of technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Logistics Management:

  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch delivery drivers and/or service technicians to customer locations in Metro Manila and surrounding areas.
  • Determine the most efficient and cost-effective routing and sequencing for daily deliveries and service calls, considering factors like traffic, delivery time windows, and technician specialization.
  • Receive, process, and prioritize service requests and delivery orders accurately and quickly.
  • Monitor the real-time location and status of all field personnel (drivers and technicians) to ensure timely arrivals and adherence to schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatched calls, deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and driver/technician daily logs.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and technicians in the field, providing clear instructions, updates, and support to resolve on-the-road issues.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery status, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and any potential delays or changes to the schedule.
  • Coordinate closely with the Warehouse and Inventory teams to ensure the correct products are prepared for dispatch.
  • Liaise with the Sales and Customer Service teams regarding urgent requests and scheduling conflicts.

Problem Solving and Reporting:

  • Handle emergency calls, rerouting, and last-minute changes effectively and calmly.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to delivery or scheduling efficiently and professionally.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on dispatch efficiency, delivery metrics, and service response times.
  • Assist in maintaining vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Work experience (minimum 6 months) as a Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role, preferably within the logistics, distribution, or equipment/services industry.
  • Familiarity with Makati City and Metro Manila geography and traffic patterns is a distinct advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Proficiency in using dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make quick, sound decisions under pressure.
  • High level of customer service orientation and professionalism.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based in the Makati City office.
  • May require flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including potential weekends, depending on operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
