  7. Identifying Target Companies: Scouts for companies that align with the holding company's growth objectives.

  8. Due Diligence: Examines financials, market positioning, and operational health before making investment decisions.
  9. Negotiating Deals: Structures buyouts, mergers, or minority stake investments while ensuring a favorable deal structure.
  10. Integration Planning: Helps acquired businesses smoothly transition into the holding company's portfolio.
  11. Portfolio Optimization
  12. Assessing Subsidiary Performance: Reviews revenue, market share, and operational efficiency of each business unit.
  13. Restructuring Underperforming Assets: Recommends turnaround strategies or cost-cutting measures for struggling subsidiaries.
  14. Divestment Strategies: If a business no longer aligns with strategic goals, leads the process of selling or spinning it off.
  15. Cross-Portfolio Synergies: Finds ways for subsidiaries to collaborate for efficiency (e.g., shared services, supply chain integration).
  16. Partnerships & Alliances
  17. Identifying Key Partnerships: Explores alliances with industry leaders, tech firms, or suppliers to strengthen the portfolio.
  18. Negotiating Joint Ventures: Structures strategic collaborations that bring mutual benefits (e.g., co-developing new products).
  19. Developing Licensing & Franchise Agreements: Expands brand presence through partnerships while maintaining control over intellectual property.
  20. Government & Regulatory Relations: Engages with policymakers to secure licenses, permits, or favorable regulations.
  21. Market Expansion & Diversification
  22. Exploring New Business Verticals: Identifies opportunities to diversify into emerging industries (e.g., fintech, renewable energy).
  23. International Expansion: Assesses market viability in different regions and leads expansion initiatives.
  24. Competitor Analysis: Studies competitors to find market gaps and areas where the holding company can gain a competitive edge.
  25. Product & Service Innovation: Works with R&D or marketing teams to explore new product lines or services.

  26. Financial & Revenue Growth – Current Business Units

  27. Revenue Optimization: Facilitates Market Research, Strategic Alignment with Group Goals, Performance Management

  28. Performance Metrics & KPIs: Performance management and establishes tracking mechanisms to ensure subsidiaries meet revenue target

  29. Financial Distress and Business Exit

  30. Exit Strategy Planning: Identify buyers, negotiate terms, structure deal

  31. Financial Analysis: Position the business unit as strategic acquisition, minimize negative financial impact to the holding company.
  32. Execution: Negotiate final deal terms, close agreements
  33. Post-Exit: Evaluate potential reinvestment opportunities, proceeds or capital reallocation

  34. Education and Experience

  35. Graduate of 4-year course

  36. With 5 years' experience in BD
