About the role

We are seeking a skilled Lawyer & Legal Manager to join our dynamic team at DL Public Relations' in Pasay City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in providing strategic legal counsel and managing the company's legal affairs. As our in-house legal expert, you will be responsible for advising on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, agreements and other legal documents
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to executive management on corporate governance, risk mitigation and compliance
  • Managing the company's legal assets, including intellectual property, trademarks and patents
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and advising the business accordingly
  • Overseeing and managing any litigation or dispute resolution processes
  • Mentoring and supervising more junior members of the legal team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to support the company's strategic initiatives and business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial law, including contract law, intellectual property, compliance and regulatory affairs
  • Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice and support to stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player with a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members
