The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the printing production team, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of packaging materials and special projects for affiliates. This role includes managing the production line, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supervising staff to meet production targets while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Directly Reporting to: Production Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the printing production team, ensuring smooth and timely production of packaging materials.
  • Monitor production schedules, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure all production equipment is properly set up, calibrated, and maintained for optimal performance, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring that products are printed according to specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Assign tasks to production staff based on the daily production plan, ensuring that resources are efficiently allocated.
  • Provide leadership to the production team, ensuring that staff are trained, motivated, and capable of carrying out their tasks efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, coordinating with the Production Manager and other departments when necessary.
  • Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and are free from defects.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and finished goods, preventing damage and ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and track production performance metrics, reporting key data to the Production Manager to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all materials required for production are available, coordinating with the procurement team to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects for affiliates, ensuring that production timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to production, including maintaining records of staff attendance, production output, and material usage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for production staff, providing feedback and identifying areas for professional development.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all staff adhere to proper workplace safety standards.
  • Support the Production Manager in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Report production delays, equipment malfunctions, or other issues to the Production Manager and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental objectives by performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php26,500.00 per month
