Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and meet quality standards. This role involves managing production staff, monitoring workflow, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor workflow, machine performance, and materials usage to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
  • Ensure that all products meet company and customer quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing principles in the production area.

2. People Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Assign work schedules and tasks, ensuring adequate manpower in all shifts.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and conduct coaching or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Promote teamwork, safety awareness, and a positive work environment.

3. Quality and Safety

  • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., DOLE, DENR).
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety audits.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department to resolve product quality issues.

4. Process Improvement

  • Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and waste reduction.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and assist in implementing new manufacturing procedures.
  • Recommend maintenance or equipment upgrades to improve production output.

5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and submit daily production reports, including output, downtime, and manpower utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, materials usage, and equipment performance.
  • Assist in inventory management and production planning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production monitoring tools.
  • Willing to work in a shift-based or fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Shop floor environment with exposure to machinery and production noise.
  • May require overtime or shifting schedules depending on production demands.
  • Occasional physical activity such as walking, standing, or light lifting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
