The positions requires at least a graduate of BS Chemistry, BS Microbiology, BS Pharmacy or any related courses. He/she must have the ability to follow written rules and procedures. Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or scientific environment is preferred but not essential. Relevant experience in an analytical chemistry or bio-analytical lab is an asset.

Job Summary:

Sample and analyze raw materials, packaging components, intermediates products, finished products and stability products as per schedule and according to procedures and specifications with the guidance of the QC Laboratory Analyst.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares Approved/Rejected Sticker and QC Form based on the results of the evaluation of the RM.
  • Ensures that appropriate sticker are placed on the RM and Notices are forwarded to the concerned departments.
  • Prepares test solutions, media, standards, etc. according to the test methods.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the laboratory instruments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments and methods.
  • Conduct monitoring process in defined areas, including microbial air sampling, surface sampling and water sampling.
  • Execute laboratory work (cleaning, material sterilization, receiving of laboratory goods, preparation of QC samples for outside testing, preventive maintenance, etc.)
  • Assists in the implementation of quality programs.
  • Undertakes any other duties, either for this department on any other department within the division, which may be assigned by the QC Supervisor.
  • Maintains good relationship with the Production Supervisor/Staffs, QA Supervisor/Staff and IPC Supervisor/Staff.
