
Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy.
- Process journal entries and ensure they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and submit reports for internal and external purposes.
- Ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide required documentation.
- Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
