Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy.
  • Process journal entries and ensure they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable as needed.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and submit reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with audit preparation and provide required documentation.
  • Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
