Job Summary:

The role involves overseeing financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, managing budgets, and providing financial analysis and advice to support decision-making within an organization.

Job Description:

  • Maintaining and updating financial records
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
  • Reviewing and implementing financial policies
  • Preparing budget forecasts
  • Managing organizational budgeting and reporting
  • Monitoring account activities of other departments
  • Managing account payables and receivables
  • Processing invoices, bills, and payments
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws and regulations
  • Maintaining and preparing budgets and expenses
  • Creating and processing invoices
  • Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
  • Sending bills and invoices to clients
  • Tracking organization expenses
  • Processing refunds
  • Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
  • Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 year proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Ms Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
