About the role

Far Eastern University (FEU) is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in our Manila City, Metro Manila location. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the university's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Reports directly to the Chief Audit Executive
  2. Conducts and/or lead audit teams in risk-based operational/financial/compliance auditing from audit planning, execution, work paper preparation to report writing in accordance with International Professional Practices Framework of The Institute of Internal Auditors
  3. Assists the Chief Audit Executive in influencing and driving relevant change in the change in the internal audit department and departments/institutes being audited.
  4. Assist the CAE in complying with reporting requirements of the Audit Committee.
  5. Assist the CAE in preparation of the annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan/Strategic Plan to be submitted to the Audit Committee.
  6. Supervises junior auditors or other senior auditors when necessary
  7. Liaise/coordinate with external auditors as needed.
  8. Other Admin functions related to Internal Audit operations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Internal Audit or any related course
  2. Highly preferred to have CPA, CISA, CIA but not required
  3. Proficient in MS Office Applications, familiarity with NetSuite
  4. 5+ years of working experience in Internal Audit from a medium to big size organizations or any reputable firms
  5. Business Process Review, good understanding Internal Auditing, Standards, Risk and Governance concepts
