Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Food-Drug Regulation Officer I, based in Muntinlupa City. The main responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations and standards for health products such as food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics. The role involves conducting inspections, evaluating product safety, reviewing applications for licenses and product registrations, and performing risk assessments. The officer will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the agency's mission of ensuring public safety and health.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to product evaluation and regulatory compliance
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in reporting, inspection, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Knowledge or experience in science-related areas such as pharmaceuticals, microbiology, toxicology, or nutrition
  • Familiarity with government regulations related to food, drugs, medical devices, or health-related products
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Technology, or related fields
  • Relevant professional licensure (e.g., licensed pharmacist or chemist) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools is preferred
