We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in Manila. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee payroll operations for a large-scale workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role is critical in supporting the company's operations and maintaining employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage biweekly payroll for more than 1,000 agents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain payroll systems and records, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports, including statutory deductions and contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and taxes).
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement best practices.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the BPO industry.
  • Proven experience managing payroll for a workforce of over 1,000 employees on a biweekly basis.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices in the Philippines.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
