Job Summary
The Warehouse Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the receipt, organization, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective coordination with warehouse and delivery teams, and accuracy in verifying, preparing, and documenting all incoming and outgoing items.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders, delivery receipts, and packing lists to ensure correct quantities and specifications.
- Prepare, label, and organize items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipments.
- Monitor and ensure that all products are properly packed, secured, and matched with their respective invoices and delivery schedules.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions including receiving reports, dispatch logs, discrepancy reports, and damage reports.
- Coordinate with pickers, packers, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and smooth dispatch operations.
- Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
- Assist in organizing warehouse layout and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned to support the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse or dispatch operations.
- Proficient in computer operations and basic inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of performing warehouse tasks (lifting, moving items, etc.).
- Pleasing personality with a professional attitude and sense of responsibility.
- Construction industry background is a plus
