Job description:

The Senior Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily warehouse operations in a corrugated box manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of ra finished goods and supplies while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. The position also involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead warehouse personnel in daily operations, including receiving, storing and dispatching of raw materials and finished corrugated boxes.
Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and proper documentation.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw paper rolls, adhesives, inks, and finished corrugated products to prevent damage or contamination.
Plan and allocate manpower, resources, and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to meet operational requirements.
Coordinate closely with the Production, Planning, and Logistics departments for timely raw material issuance and finished goods dispatch.
Implement warehouse systems and procedures to maintain orderliness, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping (5S).
Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, stock status, and dispatch efficiency.
Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel, recommending improvements and corrective actions when necessary.
Assist in resolving discrepancies in shipments, deliveries, and inventory records.
Lead warehouse improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste minimization, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in a corrugated box or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience handling a warehouse team.
Knowledge in inventory management systems.
Familiarity with ISO standards, 5S, and warehouse safety practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
