Operations and Chargeback Specialist

The Operations and Chargeback Officer will form part of a specialized multi-skilled Payments and Card Operations Team responsible for the day-to-day processing requirements of the various customers that are seeking operational solutions from RS2. As a key part of the operations team, the job holder will be a key advocate and supporter of continuous improvement changes, with the focus on delivering the highest possible standards to our customers. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts covering the time zones of our global clients.

Responsibilities:


• Assist in the preparation, validation and on-going review of Operational documents


• Ensure that systems and processes are operating correctly in accordance with clients' requirements


• Manage and oversee the reconciliation process for all clients


• Respond to customer enquiries


• Client liaison where required


• Support Customer Service and other teams with Incident tracking and resolution


• Management of client chargebacks – Dispute management


• Maintain a good working knowledge of Card Scheme Rules by keeping up-to-date with the latest published regulations

The ideal candidate will:


• possess a Bachelor's degree or higher


• have fluency in written and spoken English (proficiency in other languages is considered an asset)


• be proficient in using Microsoft Office and Business Software


• have familiarity with processing environments, especially in card operations


• have strong Risk and Security awareness


• have strong Chargeback/Dispute handling experience


• possess working experience in the Financial Services/Banking industry


• have experience in payment systems (experience of BankWORKS is considered an asset)


• have a proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision


• have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues autonomously


• have demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow through without waiting for instructions


• have a self-driven attitude with a focus on delivering results and contributing to team success
