Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business requirements for retail banking products.
  • Design and model processes using
    BIAN service domains
    , behavior qualifiers, and control records.
  • Map data across logical and business objects; create and maintain logical data models.
  • Develop
    Swagger/API contracts
    and define service domain interactions.
  • Lead requirements formulation, gap analysis, and solution proposals.
  • Create business capability models and define end-to-end user journeys.
  • Conduct workshops to align business needs with BIAN standards and digital transformation goals.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a
    Business Analyst
    or similar role in the banking/financial domain.
  • Understanding of
    BIAN Framework
    (Service Domains, Behavior Qualifiers, Control Records).
  • Experience in
    business process modeling
    and
    workflow design
    .
  • Ability to map business data into
    logical/business object models
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in defining
    API interactions
    and writing
    Swaggers
    for API contracts.
  • Hands-on experience conducting workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.

Preferred:

  • BIAN Certification.
  • Familiarity with retail banking products:
    CASA, Fixed Deposits, Islamic Banking, Credit Cards
    , etc.
  • Experience with end-to-end
    user journeys and business capability models
    .
  • Understanding of
    API-led integration
    and composable banking architecture.
