Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on industrial ice cream machines, ice makers, and chillers
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or parts replacement as needed
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Assist in general equipment upkeep within the production facility
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards at all times

Required (any of the following):

  • Proven experience in repairing and maintaining industrial ice cream machines
  • OR College graduate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical course, with relevant field experience in appliance repair and maintenance
  • Willingness to be trained in handling specialized equipment, particularly ice cream machinery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge in basic electrical systems, motor controls, and food-grade machinery
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift/move equipment as needed
  • Willing to work flexible hours or be on-call when required
