Bookkeeper (QBO Certified) – EST Hours

Compensation: $175–$200 per week
Location: Remote (Must be available during Eastern Standard Time business hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our growing team remotely. The ideal candidate is QuickBooks Online (QBO) Certified, experienced in setting up company accounts, and comfortable working independently. This role requires strong bookkeeping skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage company accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Generates monthly financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with management and provide financial insights when needed
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the company grows

Qualifications

  • QBO Certification (Required)
  • Proven experience setting up companies in QuickBooks Online
  • Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be available to work during EST business hours
  • Experience working in a remote environment

Preferred (a plus, but not required)

  • Basic knowledge of U.S. payroll
  • Familiarity with Gusto Payroll
