  • Monitor the performance of staff, manage assignments given to them, or transfer assignments where necessary to come up with better results
  • Oversees the general accounting functions including managing the monthly and quarterly closing cycles; maintenance of full set of books; and preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Performs balance sheet review and researches and resolves issues/problems related to the general ledger items
  • Reviews subsidiary financial packages, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Coaches, develops, and motivates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function while promoting a team environment

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in the area of Financial Statement preparation, A/R, A/P or equivalent
  • Highly details oriented and hands-on in managing the department
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably Certified Public Accountant
