Position Summary:

Assists the Personal Accident & Health (PA&H) Department in the assessment of risks and preparation of policies and processing of claims.

Essential Functions:

  • Issues/prepares policies, cover notes, risk notes, certificates and other documents related to Personal Accident & Health insurance.
  • Receives declaration for Policy Issuance.
  • Files policies, statement of accounts, quotations and other documents.
  • Checks accuracy and completeness of the data in the declaration form.
  • Attends to inquiry/ies of clients as well as takes notes and provides feedback as and when necessary.
  • Maintains records of all PA & H accounts.
  • Assists in the processing of PA&H claims when required.
  • Advises the Immediate Superior of any incident or any pertinent information needed that may occur for effective and proper communication. Initially seeks advice in undertaking any appropriate action. Responsible for any action taken without proper authority.
  • Provides assistance and/or undertakes other assignments or special projects that maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accountancy or any business-related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience in administrative or support roles; experience in personal accident and health (PA&H) or non-life insurance is an advantage.
