JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT-BASED / FIXED-TERM ROLE

Job Title: Sales Support Staff – Merchandising & Promotions

Department: Sales

Reports Directly To: National Sales Manager

Supervises: None

Job Summary:

This is a fixed-term position created to provide support in the implementation of merchandising and promotional activities for Maya Products in select accounts during the last five (5) months of the year, covering the critical "BER months" sales period (August to December). The role assists the Sales Team in ensuring that product displays, inventories, and promotional executions meet agreed standards during this peak season.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays in assigned outlets, in line with planograms and promotional guidelines.
  • Coordinate with merchandisers regarding product availability, display arrangements, and promotional execution.
  • Support inventory monitoring by conducting stock checks and reporting low-stock or out-of-stock situations.
  • Facilitate the execution of price changes, promotional activities, and product withdrawals as directed.
  • Gather and submit field data including sales trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Assist in merchandising-related special projects or events as assigned.
  • Prepare and submit required activity and expense reports on schedule.
  • Perform other project-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 2nd-year college level
  • 1–2 years' experience in merchandising, promotions, or sales support preferred
  • Willing to travel to various store locations as required by project scope
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

Engagement Details:

This role is for a fixed-term engagement from [start date] to [end date], specifically created to augment manpower during the critical BER months. All tasks are limited to the scope of merchandising and promotional support as defined in this description.
