The Accounting Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the company's financial operations. This position supports maintaining compliant accounting records, strengthening internal controls, and providing timely financial insights to management. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Ensure proper documentation, review, and processing of invoices, receipts, and disbursements.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and financial forecasts to aid business planning and decision-making.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts, promptly resolving discrepancies.
  • Strengthen adherence to internal controls and contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.
  • Provide support in budgeting, cost monitoring, and basic financial analysis. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews. Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy of related statutory and internal reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A graduate in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
  • With 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience in a corporate or professional setting
  • Understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment
  • If being considered with the position, amenable to work in Makati Office.
