Job Overview

We're hiring a passionate Animation Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to craft hilarious "office funny cartoon" reels and manage our social media presence. You'll write scripts, design storyboards , and optimize content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, working closely with our two 2D animators to bring ideas to life. Creativity and understanding social media algorithms are key

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Views, Follower and Engagement through viral content and community engagement.
  • Brainstorm and create engaging, funny reel ideas for NopeCat and MESA Cat, focused on office humor.
  • Write short, punchy, funny scripts for 30-60-second animated videos, with potential to expand to 5-10 minute for YouTube videos.
  • Design storyboards to guide animators, ensuring clear and fun visuals.
  • Manage and grow our social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) by posting, scheduling, and engaging with followers.
  • Leverage social media algorithms (hashtags, timing, trends) to boost reach and engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies.
  • Collaborate remotely with animators to align on brand vision.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in content creation, filming, social media, or animation-related roles.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative content (reels, scripts, storyboards, or social media posts), ideally with humor or animation.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube algorithms and trends.
  • Basic to intermediate storyboarding skills (e.g., Photoshop, Procreate, or Storyboard Pro).
  • Familiarity with content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media platforms (e.g., Later, ManyChat), Basic Design and Graphic skill for social post.
  • Excellent English communication; understand English jokes.
  • Reliable internet and availability on Whatsapp
  • Degree in Filming, Animation, Media, or Marketing is a plus but not required.
