Compliance & Onboarding Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Onboarding Officer to ensure our hiring and onboarding processes meet all client, legal, and internal standards. This role is critical in safeguarding compliance while supporting smooth candidate onboarding for U.S.-based accounts.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and confident in handling compliance requirements with accuracy and professionalism. Strong communication skills and a solutions-driven mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and validate pre-employment requirements from U.S. candidates and upload completed files to the client database.
- Coordinate medical appointments, background checks, and other pre-employment clearances.
- Work closely with recruiters to follow up on missing documents and ensure candidates are cleared before their start dates.
- Track, maintain, and report onboarding compliance statistics and progress for all candidates.
- Implement and manage compliance policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of processes, documents, and practices to identify risks or gaps.
- Provide compliance guidance and reports to management, highlighting risks and recommending solutions.
- Develop action plans to address audit findings and compliance violations.
- Educate employees and stakeholders on compliance requirements and updates.
- Support resolution of employee concerns related to compliance and onboarding.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance and U.S. onboarding.
- Solid knowledge of compliance procedures, risk management, and U.S. employment requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with analytical problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working night shift to align with U.S. operations.
