Responsibilities

1. Collection –

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly field collections

• Prepare collection itinerary reports, deposit collections, and issue receipts

• Monitor assigned accounts and address member inquiries or payment issues

• Coordinate account status and findings with the Branch Manager

2. Account Maintenance

• Remind members of due obligations and follow up on problem accounts

• Maintain good member relationships and coordinate with other departments

• Remit collections and assess borrower repayment capacity

3. Delinquency Reduction

• Locate delinquent borrowers and investigate payment capacity

• Conduct asset checking, credit evaluation, and negotiate payment terms

4. Reports and Records

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports

5. Other Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate
  • Work Experience or Training Required
  • 6 (six) months' experience as field collector preferably in a cooperative setting or related financial institution.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A clean driving record for the last 6 months

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Summary)

• Knowledge of operational performance metrics and branch optimization

• Understanding of market dynamics and workplace safety

• Detail-oriented with strong writing and teamwork skills

Technical/Functional Skills

• Familiar with cooperative savings and loan policies, packages, and documentation

• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Behavioral Requirements

• Professional, ethical, and resilient under pressure

• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and sound decision-making

Others

• Basic knowledge of vehicle installation and maintenance

• Familiarity with cooperative policies, processes, and quality standards
