About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving our trade marketing strategy and execution, ensuring our products and services are effectively promoted and distributed through key retail channels.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive sales of Akari products in target retail channels
  • Manage relationships with key trade partners, including distributors, wholesalers and retailers, to drive promotional activities and secure optimal product placement
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimize trade marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling point-of-sale materials, product launches and other trade-focused campaigns
  • Monitor and report on the performance of trade marketing activities, providing insights to inform future strategy
  • Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their ability to effectively promote Akari products to trade customers

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a trade marketing or channel marketing role, preferably within the technology or electronics industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies that drive sales and brand visibility
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape and experience managing relationships with key trade partners
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to inform decision-making
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php85, Php95,000.00 per month
