Outpost Hostels is a chain of hostels in Palawan. Our hostel in Coron is looking for an operations manager to join our exciting team

Job Description

  • Be a compassionate but disciplined leader that fosters a positive work environment in which everyone feels appreciated.
  • Coaching and guiding department heads and rank and file to help them grow and develop necessary skills.
  • Working together with department heads to assure that the hostel and its operations are running up to standards set forth.
  • Assuring that department heads are communicating and coordinating properly with one another to attain desired results and goals.
  • Filling in if needed into the day to day operations to assure results and tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Prioritizing tasks and problems in terms of urgency and nature.
  • Analyzing assessing recurring issues trends and coming up with solutions.
  • Providing proper updates and reports to COO.
  • Make sure SOP's are followed and look to create new SOP's, amend or add to current SOP's to attain better results and smoother hostel function and operation.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both Tagalog and English (Speak, read, and write).
  • Previous Experience in a management position (Min. 1 year).
  • Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Critical analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Organization and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
