Job Summary:

The Sales Associate for Food Service is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sales opportunities to promote and deliver the company's food products to prospective and existing customers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets through effective client sourcing, relationship building, and end-to-end coordination from order placement to delivery and documentation.

Job Description:

  • Visit prospective customers and accounts in assigned locations to attend to concerns and collate new orders
  • Introduce company's products to customers while emphasizing products' strongest features
  • Negotiate price variation, product delivery, timeframe, and specifications
  • Build prospective customer list from business directories and colleagues in the industry to make new sales
  • Discuss special promotions with accounts and provide advice on current and upcoming products
  • Document all order information and purchases
  • Ensure cost calculations are accurate and provide quotations.
  • Compile customer and market information useful for planning and executing sales

Job Qualifications:

  • Open to fresh graduates and/or career shifters
  • Willing to travel and do fieldwork most of the time
  • Open to contract/temporary role (with opportunity for absorption, depending on performance)

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months
