Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Quantity Surveyors / Estimators with SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) and/or Electrical backgrounds to join our Eastwood-based team supporting major oil & gas projects in Australia. The successful candidates will prepare accurate work orders and work packs to ensure maintenance and project activities are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping)

  • Review and mark-up engineering drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, data sheets).
  • Estimate labour, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
  • Define job steps and prepare work packs for execution.
  • Raise engineering queries and obtain contractor/supplier quotations.

Electrical

  • Review and mark-up electrical engineering drawings (Loop Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Termination Drawings, General Arrangements, P&IDs, Location Diagrams, Data Sheets).
  • Identify correct ITRs and procedures for each task.
  • Estimate executable man-hours, materials, and required tools/equipment.
  • Source and evaluate quotations from contractors/suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant trade certification with onsite oil & gas experience.
  • 5 years maintenance/operational experience in oil & gas facilities (piping, valves, inline and static equipment).
  • SMP: Knowledge in piping, valves, inline equipment, static equipment; Shell ROSER training desirable.
  • Electrical: Hazardous Area (EEHA/CompEx) certification; hazardous area maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; SAP experience highly regarded.
  • Strong estimating skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Must be willing to report onsite at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
