About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Financial and Excel Modeling Analyst to support our growing real estate team. This is a remote, VA-friendly role where you will work closely with our US-based team on residential and multifamily real estate projects. Your main responsibilities include building financial models, analyzing project feasibility, and preparing reports to support investment and development decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, update, and maintain Excel-based financial and pro forma models for real estate development and investment deals.
  • Analyze project costs, revenues, and returns (IRR, NPV, ROI, cash flow projections).
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to guide decision-making.
  • Review market data and economic assumptions to ensure model accuracy.
  • Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and financial reports for management and investors.
  • Coordinate with the market research and development teams to align assumptions and projections.
  • Track project performance vs. budget and highlight key variances or risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, formulas, data analysis).
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, investment modeling, or real estate development.
  • Solid understanding of real estate finance concepts (pro forma, IRR, cap rate, absorption, yield, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Familiarity with US real estate markets (especially Bay Area) is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)
  • Must be comfortable working full-time hours aligned with US business operations.
