UpStaff Inc. specializes in providing dedicated remote accounting professionals based in the Philippines, along with offshore staffing services for global companies. Our mission is to offer cost-effective, high-quality staffing solutions that help businesses optimize their accounting functions.

We are currently seeking a Senior Auditor for our Hong Kong-based client, an established auditing firm looking to build a long-term partnership with a skilled professional. Reporting directly to the Audit Manager and/or Audit Partner, the Remote Audit Senior will play a key role in managing client engagements, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • CPA Certification Required
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of audit experience across various industries, preferably with Big 4 or reputable firms
  • Experience working with Hong Kong-based clients (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulations
  • Expertise in other international accounting standards is a plus
  • Ability to analyze financial records, conduct complex audit procedures, and prepare detailed reports

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement Management – Organize and manage audit engagements and projects, ensuring efficient execution and timely completion
  • Collaboration with Managers & Partners – Work closely with the Audit Manager and/or Audit Partner to deliver high-quality results
  • Audit Execution – Develop audit work programs, conduct audit procedures, and prepare reports, management letters, and client communications
  • Financial Reporting – Review and prepare financial statements (both separate and consolidated) for compliance and accuracy
  • Internal Controls & Compliance – Assess and test internal controls while assisting clients in financial reporting and compliance matters
  • Client Relationship Management – Build strong relationships with clients, providing proactive support and solutions

Working Conditions

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM PH/HK time (with a 1-hour break)
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Equipment: Company laptop provided (must have a stable internet connection)
  • Salary: PHP 55,000 + PHP 3,000 work-from-home allowance
