Job Summary

The role supports the company's external communications by creating compelling and engaging content and messages, managing media relations, coordinating key events, and assisting in crisis communications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation and Messaging

  • Craft compelling press releases, disclosures, feature articles for print, broadcast, and digital platforms
  • Develop engaging content for social media and digital channels
  • Support the creation of executive key messages, speeches, and talking points for external events.
  • Assist in the development of the integrated annual report.

Media Relations and Monitoring

  • Build and maintain good relationships with media outfits, particularly within utilities and business sectors.
  • Support the management of media engagement initiatives; including plant tours, interviews, briefings, and press kit preparations.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to provide actionable insights

3.   Events & On-Ground Communications

  • Assist in the management of contract signings, brand launches, and the annual stockholder meeting; ensuring optimal stakeholder experience.

Crisis Communications & Risk Management

  • Contribute to the development and execution of crisis communications strategies and holding statements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Communications-related course
  • With at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Preferably with a background in working in energy and water services industries.
  • With strong writing and editing skills, with a sharp sense for storytelling, and message alignment
  • Strong media relations and networking skills
  • Proficient in social media content creation and management
  • Event planning and coordination skills
  • Open to travel to project sites, as needed.
