  • Identifies quality problems and obtain adequate data needed for critical decision on quality
  • Examines adequacy of information on hand and takes the initiative in developing better measurements and techniques as the need arises.
  • Evaluates product test result, analyze in-process inspection reports, reject, wastage data, kiln abnormalities to ascertain conformity of glazing and firing activities with product specifications, QA standards and operational procedures.
  • Evaluates and approves glaze machine sampling prior to production run in conformity with established properties specifications, surfaces finish, printing design and color.
  • Evaluates product test results on pilot-run products and new products and submits findings and recommendations.
  • Defines in sufficient detail the performance measures for quality assurance personnel and makes sure that standards and procedures are implemented.
  • Communicates clearly the quality standards for a given job to quality assurance personnel before he starts the job.

  • Communicates both positive and negative results to subordinates so that they receive credit for accomplishment as well as information on how to improve one's performance.
  • Prepares and maintains product samples and standards references.
  • Appraises regularly subordinates' work performances.
  • Handles customer complaints coming from marketing department as instructed by his Manager. These are problems that usually arise on post delivery of products. * Conducts actual site visit for comparisons, research and product evaluation-identification/analysis of the problem.
  • Recommends hiring of employees, transfer, promotion, recognition and disciplinary action on subordinates.
  • Checks and sees to it that equipment and facilities are properly used and maintained while working areas are safe and orderly at all times.
  • Assures the orientation and training of new employees as related to quality.
  • Conducts/attends to sectional or operations meetings and participates in all TQM/TPM activities
  • Ensures safety and well-being of their subordinates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php28,000.00 per month
