We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer 3 to join our team at EFB GEOSTRUKT INC' in Cotabato City Maguindanao del Norte. As a Safety Officer 3, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees and project sites. What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
  2. Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
  3. Providing training and support to employees on safety protocols and best practices
  4. Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards
  6. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
  7. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on safety performance metrics

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
  2. Certificates of COSH BOSH HIRAC LCM
  3. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety management systems
  4. Excellent knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
  6. Proficient in using safety-related software and technologies
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
