BARTENDER/WAITER

Area of Assignment: Fuente Branch

The Bartender / Waiter is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests in the restaurant and pension house. This role involves taking and serving orders, preparing drinks, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

GUEST SERVICE

  1. Greets guests promptly and courteously, assisting with menu selection.
  2. Takes accurate food and beverage orders and relays them to the kitchen.
  3. Serves food and beverages promptly while ensuring correct presentation and portion.
  4. Handles guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.

FOOD SERVICE

  1. Assists in serving orders to customers.
  2. Takes orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to guests.
  3. Maintains knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.

TEAMWORK & COMMUNICATION

  1. Coordinates with the kitchen and other service staff to ensure timely service.
  2. Maintains open communication with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Participates in training and team meetings as required.

CLEANLINESS & SAFETY

  1. Keeps service areas, tables, and bar stations clean and organized.
  2. Follows hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or hospitality/coffee training is an advantage.
  2. Previous experience in coffee shops, restaurants, or food service preferred
  3. Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and beverage service.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
  5. Physically fit to stand for long hours and carry light trays or equipment.
  6. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  7. Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Typically works in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Shifts may vary, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • May involve working under pressure during peak times (e.g., holidays, special events).
