We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team and help drive our sales success.
Job Summary: As a Sales Consultant - Fleet, you will be responsible for assisting customers through the vehicle buying process, from initial inquiry to final purchase. You will use your expertise to recommend suitable vehicles, provide detailed information, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional with a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers and determine their vehicle needs through consultation and active listening.
- Conduct test drives and provide comprehensive information about vehicle features, benefits, and financing options.
- Sales Process Management:
- Present and explain vehicle options, pricing, and trade-in values to customers.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
- Follow up with prospective and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive industry trends, vehicle specifications, and dealership promotions.
- Attend product training sessions and stay informed about new vehicle arrivals and updates.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to the sales process or vehicle ownership.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Report on sales performance, including daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the service department to ensure a smooth transition for customers from purchase to post-sale service.
- Collaborate with fellow sales consultants to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of automotive products, features, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and dealership management systems.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
