Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine reporting, tax laws, and internal control policies.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Support treasury functions including cash flow monitoring, funds management, and banking relationships.
  • Ensure proper administration and reconciliation of all accounts, including intercompany transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Oversee tax management, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic financial planning, cost control initiatives, and business improvement projects to support company objectives.
  • Assist in developing and updating finance policies and procedures in line with company standards and local regulations.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA Philippines).
  • Extra certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are an advantage.
  • 6–8 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Good knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR rules, and financial reporting standards.
  • Preferred with at least 3 years of Audit experience.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and people skills with high integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
