Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Philippine reporting standards, tax laws, and internal control policies.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, funds management, and maintaining banking relationships.
  • Ensure proper administration and reconciliation of all accounts, including intercompany transactions, accounts receivable/payable, and balance sheet schedules.
  • Oversee tax management, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic financial planning, cost control initiatives, and business improvement projects that support company objectives.
  • Assist in developing and updating finance policies and procedures aligned with company standards and local regulations.
  • Handle ad-hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Philippines).
  • Additional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are an advantage.
  • 6–8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of audit experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with high integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP / Great Plains is a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php100,000.00 per month
