What we're looking for

THRIVE Global CFO is a CFO-as-a-service startup that has committed resources exclusively to Filipino startups. We are looking for young, driven individuals who want to become Interns in our growing organization.

We are looking for dynamic, energetic interns who are eager to learn about our company by assisting various client services teams. You will be working closely with our team to assist in client services, conduct research, and attend meetings where you will be asked to take minutes.

Successful candidates will be able to learn real-world business experience thereby preparing them for a promising finance and accounting career in the future. You will be exposed to accounting systems while also getting to learn with the CPAs and CFOs.

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current clients.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors from several client services teams.
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes.
  • Performing research at a supervisor's request.
  • Rotating through our teams of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Accepting designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Providing suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
  • Learning and becoming proficient on internal software systems.
  • Assisting with monitoring and filing of documents.

Qualifications

  • In 3rd or 4th year of college or recent graduate of an Accountancy / Accounting Technology course
  • Computer literate, with a working computer or laptop, and a reliable Internet connection.
  • Eager to learn and work with various teams in the company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Ability to multitask and can cope well under pressure.
  • Highly organized and can follow schedules.
  • Professional candor.
  • Customer focus.
  • Maintains confidentiality.

Work Hours & Benefits

  • Render at least 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
  • You will be assigned your mentor and direct access to the CEO.
  • Daily allowance will be paid during the duration of the internship.
  • Communication / Internet allowance shall also be provided.
  • Hybrid setup.
  • 3 months internship duration, ideally available to join us immediately.
  • Opportunity to join us full-time upon successful completion of internship.

Job Types: Part-time, OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php7, Php7,700.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
